ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. – PeopleFilter Technology, developers of the PeopleFilter applicant tracking system, today announced the general availability of Sourcing Accelerator™, a recruiting tool designed to solicit potential candidates from non-traditional sources, by introducing them to an opportunity in a softer, faster and easier method than a traditional want ad.

Many technology offerings mine job boards and resume banks searching for candidates who are actively seeking employment. After identifying these potential employees, recruiters must then compete for those candidates. PeopleFilter Sourcing Accelerator provides an efficient and automated way for organizations to attract the best potential employees who are not currently searching for a new career.

When a potential candidate views an ad, they are presented with general information about the organization and the career opportunity. At that juncture, candidates have two options; they can apply for the job or simply express interest in learning more about the opportunity by completing a brief customizable questionnaire.

The information collected can then be used to send targeted electronic communications, via PeopleFilter’s sophisticated Candidate Relationship Module, to invite the potential candidate to take additional steps such as attending an open house or submitting a formal application. To ensure consistency, graphic images contained within the advertisement which originally attracted the candidate are maintained throughout that candidate’s experience in the recruitment process.
